October 2007 – SAFETY !!!:

OUTSTANDING NEWS !!–L-Con Constructors has received notification that we are the recipient of the prestigious Construction Users Round Table (CURT) “2007 C.I.S.E. Construction Industry Safety Excellence Award”. L-Con was selected as the 2006 “Runner Up” for this same award and L-Con’s management dedicated itself to beating that goal with a “No Holds Barred” mission to be the recipient for 2007. L-Con’s dedication by our management and led by L-Con’s Safety Manager Mr. Terry Buza have indeed achieved this outstanding goal. Congratulations and sincere gratitude for a “JOB WELL DONE” are due all L-Con’s Management, Field Site Management and all levels of Craft Personnel for this superior performance in our Safety Program. October 2007 – South Dakota and Kansas:

ICM, Inc. has selected L-Con to provide complete plant Construction Management and Construction Services for Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping and Electrical scopes on three separate Ethanol Plant Projects. Two of the three projects are located in South Dakota with an additional facility in Kansas.

Led by L-Con’s Project Director Mr. Will Best, L-Con is set to mobilize in early November on the first of these three facilities with the two remaining to follow suit. L-Con’s Project Construction Manager Mr. Luther Sherrouse will be guiding the field construction efforts.

L-Con extends our gratitude to the folks at ICM, Inc. for their confidence in L-Con’s vast array of services and expertise to achieve our mutual success. October 2007 – Fulton, AR:

L-Con Constructors has been selected once again on a sole source basis by Shaw Group for installation of the “Power Island Mechanical Equipment” consisting of the 650MW Steam Turbine/Generator, Condensers and Associated Mechanical Equipment at Shaw’s “Turk Power Generating Station Project” located near Fulton, AR.

L-Con takes great pride in achieving this exclusive and cherished relationship with Shaw Group and is proud to be not only associated with Shaw, but as well on their team of successful construction services providers. Our sincere gratitude and appreciation is due the outstanding Shaw Group organization, we thank you.

October 2007 – Houston and Texas City, TX:

L-Con continues its long and successful relationship with Oil Tanking USA by providing Civil Infrastructure, Civil/Structural Concrete, Structural Steel, Piping Systems and Mechanical Equipment Installations at both Oil Tanking’s Houston Ship Channel and Texas City facilities.

L-Con has developed an extraordinary relationship with Oil Tanking USA and is proud to be relied upon to provide our experience and skills in achieving Oil Tanking’s construction and expansion objectives. Led by L-Con’s Project Manager Mr. Rudy Falgout, L-Con has met our customer’s challenging requirements over and over again. This can only be testified by the last almost 10 years of continuous service. Our sincere gratitude goes to Rudy and the fine people at Oil Tanking USA for this long and incredibly valued relationship.

October 2007 – Houston, TX:

L-Con’s project at the Intercontinental Terminals Facility just simply keeps on growing. ITC’s Construction Manager Mr. Stanley King continues to rely upon years of L-Con’s successful execution of their most demanding plant construction requirements. L-Con continues to provide superior Construction Services including Civil Infrastructure, Civil/Structural Concrete, Structural Steel, Piping Systems and Mechanical Equipment Installations as is evidenced by our years of services to this very gracious customer.

L-Con is proud of our achievements and the “Win / Win” attitude that ITC’s and L-Con’s site teams have developed and enjoyed over these past several years and look forward to our continued mutual success.

September 2007 – Texas City, TX:

L-Con is in the final months of our EPC Valero “LoTox” Project which includes Engineering, Procurement and Construction of this new Flue Gas Scrubber System. The scope of this project consists of a wide range of Civil, Structural, Mechanical Equipment and Piping Systems design and construction at Valero’s Texas City Refinery.

L-Con’s efforts being lead by Project Manager Mr. Steve Hensen will require nothing short of herculean to complete this demanding scope during the October Outage. L-Con’s full attention will be to assure that this project comes to a successful completion as Valero has come to expect from our organization.

August 2007 – Krotz Springs, LA:

L-Con has been selected by Valero Refining for the mechanical equipment, electrical and piping installation of the Liquid Recovery Unit (LRU) at the Krotz Springs, LA Refinery. L-Con has enjoyed a long and rewarding relationship with Valero and appreciates their confidence in yet another successful and safe project.

Mobilization is scheduled for mid-October 2007 with L-Con’s construction team captained by Project Manager Mr. Davis Minter.

July 2007 – Alexandria, LA:

L-Con Constructors has been selected on a sole source basis once again by Shaw Group to provide Construction Services for the installation of the “Power Island Mechanical Equipment” consisting of the 660 MW Steam Turbine/Generator, Condensers and Associated Mechanical Equipment along with various other services at Shaw’s “Cleco Power Station Project” near Alexandria, LA.

L-Con’s site management and construction team is lead by Project Manager Mr. Mike Norris where this installation is underway with Execution and Safety Performance that Shaw Group has become accustomed to regardless of project circumstances, schedule or financial constraints. This is only one reason Shaw Group looks to none other than L-Con to assist in achieving their objectives.
